Hey everyone! My first video of the year! Last year was a hectic year for me and I didn't get to do as much video as I plan but I did get myself to go out there and save my precious flower seeds! I hope you did too! Happy Gardening! 🙂

Can you cover additional details on when to harvest, how to dry the seeds, and how long?

Just put a piece of the root in a pot with some dirt , I guess you could always add a small onion . My ginger is blooming at the moment, the flowers are white and smell so good . I grow it in a pot because I over winter it in my garage.

Most shop bought ginger has been treated so that itwill not grow. Get yours from a farm shop.

GREAT VIDEO!!! 1- after I cold stratify can I put under grow lights to speed up growth? 2- I have wasted lots of money buying seeds that say that stratification is needed. But the directions do NOT say it’s DAMP stratification!!!

Dear Reader, The true Gospel: ✝️ Simply believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried and rose to life again on the third day. Put your faith in Jesus Christ that He has paid your sin debt & you are saved, sealed by the Holy Spirit and Heaven-bound. It's that simple folks. Get saved today 🙌 🙏 Please obtain a King James Bible and read it. The Gospel of John is a good place to start. Please avoid all modern per'versions' as they all add or take away from Scripture & reading them will have you confused & doubting your salvation (as is their purpose!) God bless you ✝️

Our first year growing Ginger was not successful. I wish we found your videos earlier, looking forward to trying again. We are in zone 6a, what consistent temperature outside is safe to plant or take potted ginger outside? Is this the same process for Tumeric? Thank you for your outstanding videos!

If you want them to bud out faster you can try adding just a small amount of sugar to the water, I don’t measure the amount but just a little bit from my sugar container say 1 1/2 tablespoon per 2quarts of warm water.

I start the seeds about 10 weeks early, they are much bigger and stronger plant when it's time to plant in the spring, by June they have nice weather to fully produce before the crazy heat arrive in July, also bury some compost in the garden bed & trim some crowded leaves if needed to give better airflow.
